Mayo Elected to Office of President by Worcester County Bar Association

September 1, 2022 – Attorney Courtney E. Mayo has been named the Worcester County Bar Association President.  She will be serving as the 111th president and the 7th female president.  Mayo is a partner at Hassett | Donnelly and works in the Worcester office.

The Worcester County Bar Association has been in operation since 1887 and continues to grow in memberships and programs that support Worcester County lawyers and residents.  The initiative of the association is to “maintain the honor of the profession” by serving as a resource to network, educate and assist its members.

“I am honored to have been elected to serve as President of the Worcester County Bar Association,” said Mayo.  “Since coming out to Worcester from Boston more than 14 years ago, this Bar has been nothing but warm and welcoming to me.  I look forward to a year of working together as a Bar to serve our members and our Worcester community.”

Mayo has been an active member of the Worcester County Bar Association for many years and has taken on a number of leadership roles including serving on the Civil Litigation Committee, Ad Hoc Sponsorship and Member Benefit Committee, the Ad Hoc Committee for Anti-Racism and Equity and on the Executive Committee. In both 2019 and 2021, Mayo received the WCBA President’s Award for her dedication and service to the Worcester County Bar Association.

Courtney will continue to uphold and advance the values of the Worcester County Bar Association during her presidency.
