Hartford, Connecticut. April 27, 2022 – Hassett & Donnelly, P.C., an insurance defense trial practice firm, announced today that Megan L. Michaud has joined the firm as an associate in its Hartford office.
Megan’s practice will focus on employment litigation, general liability, premises liability, professional liability, and workers’ compensation.
Prior to joining Hassett & Donnelly, P.C., Megan worked as an associate for an established employment and personal injury Connecticut law firm. She has a broad range of litigation experience including handling employment, discrimination and workers’ compensation actions, as well as handling personal injury cases involving catastrophic injury. She has amassed considerable courtroom experience with favorable trial and dispositive motion practice in CHRO and Connecticut State and Federal courts. She has also successfully argued in front of the Connecticut Appellate Court and has briefed appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit and the Connecticut Supreme Court.
Megan earned her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. She earned her B.S. from the University of Connecticut.
Megan is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut; United State District Court, District of Connecticut; and the United State Court of Appeals, Second Circuit.
