Hassett | Donnelly adds Nicole K. Heroy to Hartford Office

Hartford, Connecticut. June 15, 2026 – Hassett | Donnelly, an insurance defense trial practice firm, announced today that Nicole K. Heroy has joined the firm as an associate in its Hartford office.

Nicole’s practice focuses on premises liability, transportation, and worker’s compensation.

Prior to joining Hassett | Donnelly, Nicole served as an Attorney Advisor at the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review (“EOIR”), Office of the Chief Immigration Judge. In her role, she conducted comprehensive legal research and worked in close collaboration with judges. Nicole also developed extensive nationwide experience assisting Immigration Courts in multiple Circuit Court of Appeals.

Prior to serving at the U.S. Department of Justice, Nicole served as a Judicial Law Clerk with the Connecticut Superior Court.

Nicole earned her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law, with concentrations in Civil Advocacy and Dispute Resolution and International Law and Policy, graduating magna cum laude. She received her B.A. in History with Minors in Cultural Anthropology and Brazilian Studies from Central Connecticut State University, graduating cum laude.
