Jim’s litigation experience includes the defense of a Fortune 500 telecommunications company in general liability claims throughout Massachusetts, and defending a national, not-for-profit community organization in wrongful death lawsuits. He also has significant experience defending claims that arise from construction site accidents, and large property damage claims caused by flawed designs and workmanship. Jim’s other areas of experience include representing workers’ compensation insurers before the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents, defending insurance agents and brokers in professional liability lawsuits, and commercial disputes.
Jim is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association and is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. In addition to his professional activities, he served for many years on the Town of Norfolk Insurance Advisory Committee, and is a current trustee of the Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, in North Attleborough, Massachusetts.
