Worcester, Massachusetts. February 27, 2020 – Hassett & Donnelly, P.C., an insurance defense trial practice firm, announced today that Patrick T. Ciapciak has joined the firm as an Associate in its Worcester office.
Mr. Ciapciak’s practice will focus on premises liability, professional liability, employment litigation and appellate matters.
Prior to joining Hassett & Donnelly, P.C. , Mr. Ciapciak worked as an Associate at an established insurance defense firm in Boston handling long-term care litigation, human services liability and professional liability matters.
Mr. Ciapciak served as a Student Practitioner for the Civil Administration Division of the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General. He earned the distinction of being one of the first students permitted to argue in a civil case before the Massachusetts Appeals Court and prevailed on behalf of the Commonwealth.
In 2019, Mr. Ciapciak earned his J.D from Boston College Law School. During law school, he was named a national semifinalist in the Jessup International Moot Court competition, served on the Executive Board of the Federalist Society and was featured in BC Law Magazine following the success of his appellate argument. In 2016, Mr. Ciapciak earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Villanova University, graduating magna cum laude.
Mr. Ciapciak is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Worcester County Bar Association, the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association (MassDLA) and Claims and Litigation and Management (CLM).
