Nicole’s practice focuses on premises liability, transportation, and worker’s compensation.
Prior to joining Hassett | Donnelly, Nicole served as an Attorney Advisor at the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review (“EOIR”), Office of the Chief Immigration Judge. In her role, she conducted comprehensive legal research and worked in close collaboration with judges. Her experience includes drafting complex analyses and written orders under strict deadlines and completing more than 60 written decisions annually. Nicole also developed extensive nationwide experience assisting Immigration Courts in multiple Circuit Court of Appeals providing written decisions and responding to research inquiries. Nicole served on several committees with EOIR and was the recipient of two awards for her contributions.
Prior to serving at the U.S. Department of Justice, Nicole served as a Judicial Law Clerk with the Connecticut Superior Court, refining her impressive legal writing and analytical skills by proofreading and preparing motions and memoranda
Nicole earned her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law, with concentrations in Civil Advocacy and Dispute Resolution and International Law and Policy, graduating magna cum laude in 2020. While at Quinnipiac, Nicole was a member of various associations, including the student bar association, the probate law journal, society for dispute resolution, and the international human rights law society. She received her B.A. in History with Minors in Cultural Anthropology and Brazilian Studies from Central Connecticut State University, graduating cum laude in 2009.
